I have a used 3090 recently acquired, and it's under customer water, so it has plenty of cooling and available voltage. Even at STOCK clock speeds, my GPU is throttling power limit right at 400w total power draw. Not all FTW models seems to have this issue. WebMar 1, 2024 · Flashing a 3x8pin bios on a 2x8pin card almost always results in an even lower PL due to the 3rd 8pin being read as a duplicate of the 1st 8pin. The only exception to this is the KP 3090 1kw bios which opens the limits so high that it still works on 2x8pin cards. There does not seem to be a solution for the 2x8pin 3080ti's other than shunt modding.
