Shower gets warm but not hot
WebMar 24, 2013 · The problem is that sometimes when we use the shower, if we turn it as far as we can on the hot side ("max hot"), it can be so hot that we have to take it back a notch (not hot enough to scold, just uncomfortable). Other times, we can turn it to the "max hot" position and it's barely lukewarm. WebIn our new house, the shower controls in the kids bathrooms are adjustable so you can set the temperature to prevent scalding. Even if the kids push the control all the way to HOT, the water will only be comfortably warm. I'm not sure about all controls, but on ours you pop the face off the control.

If the breaker was tripped, and the heater stopped working that might be the reason for lukewarm water flowing.
