WebKaren Gillece (born 1974 in Dublin) is an Irish writer. She studied law at University College Dublin and worked for several years in the telecommunications industry before turning to writing full-time. She has written four novels and her short stories have been widely published in literary journals and magazines. WebIn 2024, her plays ‘Dead Man’s Bells‘ and ‘Bring Your A Game’ were staged at Milwaukee Irish Fest, showcasing contemporary Irish writing. In her writing for screen, Méabh was longlisted for the 2024 BBC Writersroom placing in the top 3% of nearly 4,000 scripts.
