There are knock off mods that try to create a similar (if somewhat pvp-centric) experience, but the only real DayZ's are Standalone and vanilla DayZ Mod for Arma 2.If I were you, I'd get Standalone simply for the fact that it will be getting more expensive in future and you'll be receiving a full, fleshed out game later down the line.
